Haitians killed in Tivoli?

THE police say they cannot confirm suspicions that Haitians were among those killed when security forces launched a major offensive against gunmen in Tivoli Gardens last week.
“We have not been able to confirm that yet,” Police Commissioner Owen Ellington said. “We are waiting on the autopsies to confirm that.”

This followed numerous speculations and a report in an ABC News feature, that Haitians were among those recruited by the accused drug lord and fugitive Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, the alleged head of the Shower Posse, wanted in the United States to answer to drug and gun trafficking charges.

The Haitians were believed to be prisoners on the run following a jail break amidst the horror and devastation of the massive 7.0 earthquake that rocked the island on January 12.
