BUSY SIGNAL, TWINS IN 'GARY' MIX-UP - Artistes at odds over controversial song.

Twin of Twins' song 'Mix Up' is almost a year old but it is now the reason why the duo is at odds with fellow dancehall artiste Busy Signal.
In the song, the duo made reference to Busy Signal's song One More Night saying, "wi nah seh di artiste a move contrary/ So wi ask, who a di producer who engineer it/ Who mix da song deh who did prepare it/ Mi waan know how some people hear baby/ It look like mi deaf but mi know seh mi hear it/ Busy a beg one more night from Gary."

Apparently, the song has not gone down very well with Busy Signal who has now responded months later, with a song reviling the two brothers on a Cash Money CD.
In the song, Busy throws lyrical salvos when he chants, "Wi Nuh flip up flip up/ Or lip up lip up/ Di machine lift up ... / When mi rise the Heckler and Koch Twin of Twins get shot/ Run up inna a death trap."

Speaking with  Patrick 'Curly Lox' Gaynor said there are no hard feelings towards Busy Signal or any wish to continue what has been brewing. However, he adds, "If a man seh something wi just ago reason back wid him aloud. It was done in accordance with the nature of dancehall."

In their song, Yuh Nuh Think It Too Late, they deejay, "yuh think it too late fi Busy strike back/ Yuh know how long Gary have him a tell him seh him nuffi fight back/ How mi fi seh yuh straight and yuh nuh like dat ... / Yuh nuh think it too late fi da song deh upset him ... / Wi nah play no hypocrite, somebody seh Gary/Wi song couldn't buss if nobody neva hear it/ Wonder if him seh Gary fi appeal to di guy dem."

Gaynor said a response from Busy Signal was unexpected because they thought he was an artiste with more intelligence and class.
"We are very disappointed in Busy. Based upon the fact seh wi think Busy is a much more intelligent artiste, we never expect Busy fi come out and a deal with it in such a way 'cause Mix Up nuh diss Busy," Gaynor said, noting that the next Stir It Up volume will be released in January.
"Wi neva do wi song with any bad things in mind. Wi nuh know how him interpret disrespect from it. This attack is unprovoked. Man fi just lef out the 'yes man' and 'three grand follower' dem and dem life will be much better. Nobody nah control the outcome of none a wi song dem."
