On Saturday night the car park on Grenada Crescent in New Kingston was invaded by energetic patrons hungry for 'wata' as The Wata Party got into high gear from the early hours.

Inside the jam-packed venue, patrons were treated to several hours of non-stop entertainment by disc jockeys and artistes such as Coppershot, Richie Ras, Busy Signal and Konshens.
The dominantly female crowd seemed to be having a blast as they were showered with water and they certainly did not mind being wet as that seemed to only provide more enjoyment for them.

In the early hours of the party Richie Ras played songs such as Roll It Gal, I Just Wanna Dance With You,Wotless and Hot Wuk as he gave ladies a chance to dance.
Females sang and danced along to Only Girl In The WorldForget You and Baby and hands littered the night air when Dynamite blared from the speakers.

At the announcement that Konshens would be performing, screams rang throughout the venue and when he hit the stage it was much more of the same.
He began his high-energy set with Talk Bout We and he managed to keep that energy throughout his performance.

A good set from Coppershot which included songs such as Come To MehFollow Da LeaderExposeAdvantageand Charge Up was thoroughly enjoyed by patrons as they managed to dance up a storm even with their movements being restricted due to the crowd size.

"Hothead, hothead!" signalled Busy Signal's entry to the stage. He went straight into his soca songs Touch Road,Wine Yuh Waist, Push Bumpa and they were all well received as he blazed onstage in his orange shirt. "Sexy ladies scream! Wata party a di best!" said a smiling Busy Signal as he neared the end of his performance.
