MAVADO,GABRIEL,JULIAN AND OTHERS CONDEMNED FOR BEING ABSENT FROM MAMA IVY'S FUNERAL.



Miss Ivy is buried but news and discussions about her funeral is far from being over.Some artist who did not turn up to represent are getting heavy dishonor from the general public.The dancehall community came out on Saturday to support Bounty Killer as he said good by to his mom miss Ivy. Several artists represented in fine style;`Carlene Davis,Shaggy,T.O.K,D’Angel,Beanie Man,Father Pow,Twins of Twins and just about are just a few of the artist who we spotted.


Nonetheless, eyes are on people like Movado, lollipop artist Gabriel and Julian who did not represent at the funeral. Movado who is said to be in beef with the Killer was not present to support bounty. The streets and the whole industry have been talking about it his absence. Fans took to internet websites and social media to express their displeasure concerning his refusal to show up and render Bounty some sympathy.

Fans argue that Vybz Kartel would have showed up with the whole Gaza team if he was not in jail. Movado is getting a lot of dishonor and disapproval for being absent from this event that meant so much to Bounty.

In the mean time, Gabriel who was also said to be absent from the nine night did not show up at the funeral. This sends shock waves to many as they argue that Bounty stepped out to represent her so well and she did not see the need to attend neither the funeral nor the nine nights. They argue that even Beanie Man and Gaza Lisa Hyper turned out.Gabriel has been said to be in an intimate relationship with Bounty Killer after they did a remake of My Boy Lollipop by Millie Small.

 However the Alliance and ANG team represented in full style and the all showed their support to the Dancehall General. The funeral was a jam packed one as the Swallowfield Church hall became the spot for the day .Artists and dancehall supporters watch as Miss Ivy claimed a “royal send off”. The family including Bounty’s siblings sat together during the ceremony that many deem a well put together one.Mama Ivey left in a sophisticated soothing coloured casket to her final resting place while onlookers push to witness the mother of a star as she went down in her grave.

Rest in peace Mama Ivy.Movado, Julian,Gabriel and all the other who were not present, “di people dem waan know what unu have to say bout unu absence from the funeral just to show some support to the one who made you guys what you are today.”

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
