D'Angel at her birthday Sunday April 1,2012 Pictures!!!

Dancehall Diva, D'Angel, real name Michelle Downer, received strong support from the musical fraternity, including entertainers and disc jocks at her birth-night party atop Cookies nightclub, Port Henderson Road, on Sunday night.


 D'Angel was overwhelmed by the occasion: "I feel very awesome tonight, all my friends and family are here. I'm happy to be alive and well, and just celebrating my birthday in fine style."
D'Angel added that she's currently, working on a number of projects which comprises of a new single titled It Ago Cost You. She is also doing some work with producer Markus Myrie, the son of dancehall icon Buju Banton. The tune they are pushing is titled Believe In Yourself. "I'm working hard and focusing on myself and my music this year," she said.

She also said that her flagship event, An'So Thursdays, is the place to be, atop the roof of Cookie's nightclub. "We are putting the spotlight on Portmore," she said.
The support cast at her birthday party included fellow artiste G-Whiz, who assisted in cutting a well-decorated birthday cake. He also sang her 'happy birthday'. He made reference to some years back when he first sang happy birthday to D'Angel.

Singer Ghost also gave tribute to the dancehall diva in song, as the sexy-figure birthday girl gyrated. Also in the venue, were Stacious; Chosen; Buju Banton's son, Marcus Myrie; Food Kartel and others.
DJ Nerro from Sun City radio, based in Portmore, gave D'Angel a pricey Juicy Couture handbag as a gift. He was one of a number of disc jocks that created the wow feeling for party-lovers. The original 'big belly man', Sky Juice, was full of energy as usual, and sent out 'big-ups' to the birthday girl. Other disc jocks that created an impact were Flava Unit, Flava Dabba, Tata Dust, Jermaine Ethical and Bumpy Cash. Hotta Maestro also stamped his class on the party, playing 'rude bwoy' tunes as patrons raised 'gun fingers' in approval.

At 4 a.m., however, the police came and locked off the sound, as patrons reluctantly left the venue.

    naturally like your website however you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner.
