TRUSOUL DOES IT TWICE; WOWS SMILE JAMAICA & TASTEE TALENT TRAIL



Trusoul wowed audience with back to back performance on Wednesday December
12 and Thursday December 13, 2012 at Smile Jamaica TVJ and Tastee Talent Trail
Grand Finals Show respectively.

--Trusoul also known as Patrick Brown and the ‘2011’ Tastee Talent Trail winner graced the
Smile Jamaica morning programme on TVJ and left TV audience in awe.
Invited to perform with CODE 5 Band on the morning programme; Trusoul delivered two
Christmas Carols and two of his originals in star quality form. Singing ‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Do
you hear what I hear’ reggae version in the first segment, he showed his vocal range with
diverse performances. However it was his originals ‘We A Lead’ & ‘Hard Hustle’ that had the
viewers and staff alike at TVJ, stunned at the emerging entertainer’s performances.
Trusoul went on to wow the Tastee Talent Trail Final show audience the next day at Tastee
Car park in Cross Roads, Kingston. He was introduced by host, Elva; He entered the Tastee
Stage with lights out singing an interlude before entertaining the audience with the uptempo
version of R. Kelly’s ‘When a Woman Love’, Ken Boothe’s ‘Everything I Own’ and
closing with his original ‘Hard Hustle’. During his performance the audience screamed,
yelled, sang and danced, there was no doubt that they enjoyed themselves during Trusoul’s
performance.
When Trusoul was asked how he felt delivering two back to back performances to
overwhelming responses, he said “I am very pleased and this is just the beginning, greater
things are in store.” On a different note, Trusoul updated us that he had released his single ‘Hard
Hustle’ to overwhelming response and the single is slowly building momentum on radio stations both
locally and internationally, especially in the European market where it has been receiving great
feedback.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
