The Vybz Kartel 'Bossy' murder trial has been put off for a third day.

The trial could not go ahead today as the presiding judge Justice Bryan Sykes was unavailable because he is involved in another murder case which started last week.

The matter was then put off to tomorrow.

One of Kartel's attorneys Christian Tavares Finson asked for a copy of the indictment as well as a copy of the list of witnesses to be called by the prosecution.

He said the defence is ready to begin its case.

Kartel, whose given name is Adidja Palmer, Lenburgh McDonald and Nigel Thompson are charged in relation to the killing of businessman Barrington ‘Bossy’ Burton.

The police say Burton was murdered while he was standing with friends along Walker's Avenue in Gregory Park, St Catherine in July 2011.
