Jamaica's Tessanne Chin lays strong claim for a top three spot on The Voice

Jamaica's Tessanne Chin continued to wow fans of NBC's singing talent show, The Voice, on Monday night with a command performance of the Simon and Garfunkel's classic, Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Chin's was the last performance of the night and it seemed she fulfilled the expectations of the producers of the show, receiving the longest and most enthusiastic audience response of the five singers, solidifying her claims as a serious contender for the season five title.
At the time of writing, her song was at number 11 on the iTunes list and appeared set to go even higher, given the momentum with which the song had been moving.

There were also strong performances by the other four contestants: James Wolpert  – “With or Without You” by U2, Will Champlin – “Carry On” by Fun, Jacquie Lee – “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan, and Cole Vosbury – “Shameless” by Garth Brooks (Originally by Billy Joel)
Despite their best efforts, however, two will be eliminated during Tuesday's results show, reducing the field even further to a three-person contest.
