Sizzla denied entry into United States

Reggae artiste Sizzla's long awaited US-Tour, which was scheduled for November and December, has been cancelled as he was denied entry into the country.

According to Stephen Brush, head of International Artists Agency, the denial came as a surprise as he, Sizzla and his lawyer were all promised the “moon and the stars” when they began booking the tour.
The head of the US booking agency said Sizzla was given his I129 and O1-B Status and all were presented at the interview at the US embassy. However, the visa was still denied.
Meanwhile, the Jamaica Association of Gays and Lesbians Abroad (JAGLA) has welcomed the decision to bar Sizzla from the US.

JAGLA says while it has not been informed of the circumstances under which the visa was denied a clear message has to be sent that persons who make comments that jeopardize the well-being of members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered community in Jamaica, cannot be welcomed in the USA.
