Incarcerated dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel is in hospital receiving treatment for a kidney infection. This was confirmed by his attorney Tom Tavares-Finson. Kartel is being treated at the University Hospital of the West Indies. Kartel, whose real name is Adidjah Palmer, fell ill on Sunday and was provided with medical treatment. He again became sick and had to be taken to hospital. Kartel has been behind bars since 2011 in relation to the murder Clive 'Lizard' Williams. In 2014, he along with fellow entertainer Shawn Campbell, popularly known as Shawn Stow, Kahira Jones and Andre St John were convicted of the crime.
