KONSHENS will be marrying soon



After cementing his place in the hearts of many adoring female fans, many hearts were left broken when news began spreading via social media that artiste Konshens was engaged.


His fiancé reportedly posted a picture of her engagement ring on her Instagram page, with friends and family congratulating the two on their upcoming nuptials.
Upon hearing the news, fans of the artiste also took to their Twitter page to congratulate the couple.
Konshens, whose given name is Garfield Spence, began his career in 2005, while he was working with his brother Delus, in the duo Sojah, but it was not until the release of his first solo effort, Winner, in 2008, that the reggae and dancehall community really began recognising his talent.
Since then, he has followed up with hits such as Gyal A Bubble, Stop Sign, Good Girl Gone Bad (featuring Tarrus Riley) and Do Sumn.
Efforts to contact the artiste for a comment were unsuccessful.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
