NEW YORK REACHES OUT TO LOLLIPOP SINGER GABRIEL


Lollipop singer Gabriel shines in New York with her old classic My Boy Lollipop remake done with Bounty Killer. Gabriel’s new single Me and him Noh Deh ft Lovindeer which was coined to address dating rumours with Bounty Killer and her recently banned controversial track Cum Now is said to be getting heavy rotations in New York . Fans have been expressing their liking for her singles as they make several calls to radio stations to request them.
One radio DJ who featured Gabriel on a recent show told us that “Gabriel’s music is diverse and her sound is unique. This is the kind of music that we want to play for the people right now, something different….something that can attract listeners from all over and not just here in New York .”
Gabriel who is said to be very busy recording with top producers in New York City has been appearing on several television and radio programs where she sits in on interviews and detailed discussions with DJs and talk show host about her music. Gabriel was recently live in studio on Red Hot Radio and other famous New York stations where she benefited from engaging with fans who showered her with love and support as they call in to speak to the Lollipop Girl.
Gabriel was also spotted at New York ’s Linkage Radio Awards ceremony held in Mount Vernon where she presented award for Best New Artist.
When Starlight News spoke to the controversial singer she told us that she is excited about her music and where it is heading. She also gave props to New York for how much they have accepted her and shown interest in her music.
 Gabriel expressed that her collaboration with Bounty Killer has made her fairly popular in New York especial among the Caribbean people.
And like always, she extended love and appreciation to Bounty Killer for giving her such enormous break. “Well I have to big up Rodney for allowing me to be where I am now. I really appreciate his effort in representing me throughout my career.”

Gabriel and Bounty Killer will be shooting the long anticipated video for their hit single My Boy Lollipop in another week. She told Starlight that she will be shooting some scenes in Manhattan and some in Jamaica .

“I look forward to doing this video as it will help to promote the song even more. Bounty killer is ready for this and he has assured me that we need to get the ball rolling. My condolences go out to him as he mourns the lost of his dear mom  Mrs. Ivey. I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral but he understands.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
