Vybz Kartel lecture, Feedback from students- What did you think?













The announcement that popular artiste Vybz Kartel would deliver a lecture at the University of the West Indies sent the social networks in a frenzy. The moments after his lecture would prove just as sensational with students digesting all the popular dj had to say. Thousands of students showed up at The Undercroft at Mona. Here is what a few students had to say about 'the Teacher's' lecture. Did it compare to other classes?



 
sense at all. He should be explaining his lifestyle and how it's affecting youngsters. He's a role model and he's trying to go around that saying he's in the industry to make money; he's not trying to uplift the people.



He kept on repeating the same things over and over. He should consider himself a role model, his argument really doesn't make any sense. I don't understand why he refuses to do better, he has so much impact on the youths.  


I didn't find him informative. I wasn't surprised by anything he said especially his argument that he isn't a religious figure and that he doesn't care about his influence on Jamaica.







He was very interesting and his points were very clear. He was a good speaker I wish he would come back and lecture again, he was very knowledgeable.
