VYBZ KARTEL'S ORAL SEX SONG A FAKE - Deejay says someone spliced it

A song from deejay Vybz Kartel which surfaced on the Internet yesterday has been causing quite a stir due to an extremely controversial line.

An excerpt of the song was posted on www.soundcloud.com yesterday, in which Kartel is supposedly deejaying about participating in oral sex. In this version of the song, which already has over 5000 views, he is heard deejaying, "mi wah kiss yuh pon dah … jaw deh."
The deejay, however, has claimed on social networking site Twitter.com that the song was 'spliced'. The practice of splicing music is a form of editing in which a person's voice is cut and edited into the appropriate place for various effects.

The raw and clean versions of the song, Come Yah Nuh Me Gyal, on the New Era rhythm from producers Young Vibez were posted on www.youtube.com a week ago, neither of which has the same lyrics of the version posted on soundcloud.com.
When contacted yesterday, Kartel said, "Its my new song on Jamie's (Young Vibez) New Era rhythm and it's an apparent splice tune."

He continued, "The raw version says "mi want touch yuh pon dah ... jaw deh' and the clean one says 'me want kiss yuh pon dah jaw deh'. All they did was alter the 'kiss' from the clean version. Why would people think I did the song on purpose when the original songs, raw and edited are on youtube?"
When asked why he believes someone would splice his song, he said, "I guess the person who did that splice was just altering a Kartel song to 'ketch his kicks' as he is apparently fascinated with oral sex."
In a broadcast message sent out via BlackBerry messenger last night, the deejay also stated; "I should not even be dignifying those allegations with a statement, but since it is the politically correct thing to do, so be it. This attempt by these malicious and vindictive persons who seek to defame my character is as futile as trying to dethrone the dancehall hero from the pinnacle of the genre."

He concluded by stating; "try something else that is more believable. Better luck next time haters."
