TASTEE TALENT WINNER ‘HUSTLING HARD’


‘2011’ Tastee Talent winner, Patrick Brown readies the anticipated single ‘Hard
Hustle’ for Oral Tracey’s Let Loose on December 2, 2012.
KINGSTON, November 28, 2012--Patrick Brown states that a lot of setback has affected the release
of his single since he won the competition in 2011. “In light of winning the Competition I felt
pressured to give fans a production and I rushed into releasing my first song, a mistake I solely take
responsibility for”. He went on to explain that the knowledge he lacked about production and the
music industry on whole almost forced him to quit music and delayed him recording any music.

The long wait has however turned into some positive things for him; he has formed his own company
‘Soulful Entertainment’ and signed to management team ‘Ikons Management’. He says he has
meticulously selected the single ‘Hard Hustle’ as the perfect song to introduce him to the world as the
artiste ‘Trusoul’ (the artiste name he now goes by).

 ‘Hard Hustle’ is a self produced project done at Harry J and Grafton Studios and has received positive
feedback from industry insiders. The Debut single is set for ‘Oral Tracey’s LET LOOSE’ at Theatre
Place on December 2, 1012, where he will performing alongside; Ritchie Stephens, Jodian Pantry,
Lemon and Sean the Magician. Trusoul says his upcoming performance is one you won’t want to miss.

He also noted that a mini launch ‘Introducing Trusoul’ is in the planning stages and details will be
released in the press.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men.
