MR LEXX BACK IN JA - Deejay returns home after not being allowed to leave the US


Deejay Mr Lexx is back in the island today after spending more than a year in New York.

His manager, Earlton Clarke, yesterday  that the deejay had boarded his flight to Jamaica last night and is expected to return safely into the island. Lexx, born Christopher Palmer, has been missing from the local scene since October last year when he was arrested after a woman reported to the police that he sexually molested her.

It was reported that the woman was in her room at a hotel in Queens, New York, when the deejay forced himself on her. The police arrested the deejay the following morning. Since the incident occurred, the deejay's travel documents were seized and he has been unable to leave the United States.

After making several court appearances, the felony charges were dropped against the deejay in April. His attorney, Mark Potashnick, previously told  that the deejay was required to serve three days of community service and to show this as proof at a later date to the court.
His passport, the lawyer commented, will also be returned and he will be allowed to travel back to Jamaica.
While in the United States, Lexx was kept busy recording new material, and even venturing into new territories such as modelling and acting. Lexx recorded songs such as Buss a Wine, I Can Transform Ya and Let It Pop featuring Esco. He can also be seen in films such as 'Wha Do Dem' and 'Out The Gate'.
Mr Lexx came to prominence as Lexxus and enjoyed hits with songs like Good Hole, Bounce Ah Gyal, Full Hundred and Taxi Fare, to name a few. While his single Dem a Pree climbs the charts, the artiste also reportedly worked on a collaboration with one of the members from the G-Unit camp.
