Urban Islandz has exclusively learned that dancehall hero Vybz Kartel will be starting his own clothing line soon.

Last month Urban Islandz exclusively told you that Vybz Kartel who is an aspiring entrepreneur will soon be distributing his own branded version of the popular Blue Bummer Cake Soap.
Our ever so reliable source inside the Gaza told us that Vybz Kartel and his business partner Corey Todd are both looking to start a new clothing line, which will comprise of Sneakers, Jeans, T-Shirts, Casual


Footwear similar to Clarks and accessories such as Belt and Dog Tags.
According to the source, the new dancehall fashion line will be called Addis and most of the wears will be coming from out China.

“Vybz and Todd a two smart people, and when they come together they come up with some crazy business idea and I know this one will take the dancehall scene by storm, everybody a go wear Addis,” the source said.
“Hip Hop stars been doing it for a long time, so Vybz Kartel and Todd is taking the first step in dancehall to build businesses from Vybz Kartel popularity,” the source added.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
