Vybz Kartel Allegedly Paid Police $4 Million To Destroy Evidence
As Vybz Kartel murder case grows deeper by the day, new reports have surfaced alleging that the Portmore Empire head paid police officers JM$4 million to cover up evidence in the case.
An anonymous source told Urban Islandz reps in Jamaica that the transaction took placed recently between a police officer close to the case and one of Vybz Kartel’s relative.
The “Cake Soap” deejay is facing two charges of murder and one charge each of conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of firearm.
Earlier this week, some six police officers involved with the case was suddenly transferred after they were caught on tape accepting money from a relative of Kartel and also an associate visiting him behind bars.
The deejay has since been transferred to another holding cell pending awaiting trial.
Vybz Kartel returns to court on December 2nd, where he will again seek bail.
Up to the time of this publication this is rumors and not confirmed by police sources.
