BET Banned Nicki Minaj “Stupid Hoe” Video
According to TMZ, a confirmed that they would not be airing the video, but did not specify why. Other sources at the company told TMZ that the ban was placed because the video was too explicit for TV.
Nicki Minaj debut the video on VEVO on January 20th to avoid it from being censored. The video has since rocked up over 20 millions views, breaking a record in the process.
“Can’t premiere on a network b/c its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time,” Nicki Minaj explained about the Hype Williams-directed video.
Nicki Minaj is gearing up to perform at the upcoming Grammy Awards on February 12 in Los Angeles.
