New Xterminator presents 70's inspired "Long Days Short Nights"
Xterminator Productions has once again created another musically and vocally scintillating compilation entitled Long Days, Short Nights. The concept for the rhythm was designed by a powerhouse team consisting of Sly Dunbar (from Sly & Robbie) and label founder Philip “Fatis” Burrell, with the fitting bass line provided by Donald “Danny Bassie” Dennis. This fresh release features beaming talents namely Jesse Royal & Kayla Bliss who recently collaborated on the single I Need You (Stay The Night), also from the Xterminator label. Also featured in the selection is the Xterminator groomed, and internationally renowned artiste Sizzla Kalonji.

Kalonji, whose anxiously anticipated album from Xterminator Productionsis still in the making, resonated candidly on this track which is a characteristic that he is well known and appreciated for. The 70’s smeared rhythm provides the medium for the unparalleled artiste to declare “OUT MY WAY”.
Jesse Royal, with his militant frame-of-mind, informs us with this track that he is incomparable and is to be paid close attention to. “Singing the Blues inKingston, JA” is a generally shared sentiment and Royal uses this song as a tool to expose societal woes. With his civil rights-inciting lyrics such as“conflict inna the city ‘cause the leaders lacking pity, their actions iffy ‘cause they’re driven by vanity”, Jesse Royal reminds societal abusers that they will be “Singing the Blues” for their injustices.
'Singing The Blues' is the first single off Jesse Royal's EP. The release date and tracklist has not been released as yet.
Kayla Bliss, the 23 year old Brooklyn, NY native, simply glides on the beat and delivers an ear-caressing melody that gives you more reasons than one to love her twist on Alton Ellis’s classic ‘Ain’t That Loving You’.
A bonus track is included for your listening pleasure.
