Desmond Mckenzie -Mayor of MoBay should be held responsible for exclusion of green

 


Opposition Spokesman on Local Government, Desmond McKenzie, is not satisfied with the response from Mayor of  Montego Bay, Glendon Harris, to the misuse of  the colours of  the Jamaican flag during a recent civic ceremony.


Mr Harris yesterday announced that the contractor who got the job as chief  decorator will give back the money he earned from the event and has accepted full responsibility for the incident.
    
The Mayor explained that the green fabric was not included in the decor as the decorator ran out of  material and there was not enough time to get more.

Mr. McKenzie says he's not convinced by the Mayor's explanation and is demanding that Mr. Harris accept some responsibility for the foul up.
