INDECOM submits file on Keith Clarke to DPP
Nearly two years after Chartered Accountant Keith Clarke was killed in controversial fashion by members of a military special-forces team at his home in Kirkland Heights, St Andrew, a file has now been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions for a ruling.
The file was submitted on Wednesday April 11 by the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM.
Head of INDECOM Terrence Williams says they are still probing the procedural side of the police/military operation which led to the fatal shooting of Mr. Clarke and sparked much controversy.
Mr Clarke, the brother of former Government Minister, Claude Clarke, was fatally shot during the manhunt for Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher "Dudus" Coke.
The Special Team was reportedly acting on instructions that gunmen from West Kingston were in the house.
