Actor Bad Boy Trevor, on Sunday, proposed to his girlfriend and business partner, Carline Brown, at their weekly Gal Farm Sundayz event held at Club Lucky 38 on Old Hope Road, St Andrew.



The two, who had been dating for quite a while, are very excited about the new development in their relationship. "She did plan a surprise birthday party for me at Scotchies (Chelsea Avenue) last Friday. A di first mi ever get a birthday like that. During the birthday mi tell some of her friends and some of my friends seh mi ago propose the Sunday," said Trevor.

He continued, "Di Sunday now, she thought I was going to dance for her at the club to mek up for the party, but when she realise seh mi a propose, she couldn't contain herself!"
The two are going forward as a couple as they have plans to open Club Impulse in New Kingston on December 15 and are also to start their own radio talkshow programme.
"I approached a radio station to start a programme with them. It will be called Night Shift - Battle Of The Sexes. We'll be starting from about 1 a.m., discussing sex and relationships and stuff like that. Most of the things we approach from now on will be as a couple," said Trevor.

Bad Boy Trevor also says he hopes his fans don't miss him too much as he plans to take a four-month break from theatre to spend more time with his family and to focus on the club and his writing of the script for Bashment Granny 3.

MAN SHORTAGE AFFECTS CHURCHES IN JAMAICA - Christian women complain of lack of potential husbands

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men. He further said that approximately 20 of those are already married.
