Beenieman, D'Angel are proud parents - Marco-Dean will be four today

Dancehall artistes  D'Angel and Beenie Man are once again smiling from ear to ear, as today they will be celebrating the fourth birthday of their son Marco-Dean.

The two have planned family activities for the special day, starting with a celebration at school with his friends and an exciting evening of hanging out with mom and dad.

"Marco-Dean's now growing into a little man, he's the true definition of an angel and we're very thankful for him to live to see another year," said D'Angel.

She continued, "Friday is the big day! It's the actual day of the party. We'll be starting very early having fun with family and friends. Fans will actually get to see Marco because it's not like they see him every day."
Motherhood has certainly taken its toll on D'Angel as she said, "Sometimes I don't even know how I manage so many things, it's hectic. I wear so many caps. I'm a mother, I'm an entrepreneur, and an artiste. It's very challenging to be doing those things every day and taking him to school and to extra curricula activities in between. It's very hectic, but I love it."

She also spoke of Beenie Man's role as Marco-Dean's father, praising him for doing a good job.
"Moses is doing a very good job. He's very supportive of Marco. If he's to take him to school it's not a problem. He's a mentor to Marco and he's definitely stepping up to the plate. He's doing his fatherly duties, attending school functions and all," she said.

It seems Marco-Dean is already following in the footsteps of his father as D'Angel said, "He dances to everything, he loves to dance, but what I say is that a proper education is first and then he can do what he wants from there. Look out for the Beenie Man and Marco Dean collaboration!" she joked.
