"Mi Nuh Fly Yet"- Khago: Artiste yet to do an overseas show

He is riding high on the charts locally and abroad but Khago admitted yesterday that he is yet to do a show overseas.
"Mi nuh fly yet," he said while smiling.
"Mi manager nuh tek none a dem. Him a wait till after Sting. A Banky dat enuh, a him deal wid Shabba ting so him know weh him a do. Him nuh waan mi go up deh wid one song. Wi nuh move yet enuh. Mi just a gwaan build up mi home ground now cause wi nuh inna nuh haste wid it"










Khago further explained that he wants to start out doing festivals and not small club shows.
"Mi nuh really waan go up go do no club show fi mi first show. Wi a wait pon di festivals weh people come out come see Shaggy dem and Beenie Man dem. Mi nuh waan go up go kotch up inna no club. Mi hungry but mi have mi career and mi want the best for it cause first impressions last," he told

But when he goes overseas, the artiste, who has very popular songs like Nah Sell Out, Nah Sell Out Part 2 and White Tees And Adidas, believes the experience will be a worthwhile one.
"It ago good. Mi nuh go deh yet and mi song dem a hit number one all bout. And mi song a play pon the station dem weh only hip hop a play pon, so mi feel good yuh nuh. Everyweh call mi already man. Everyweh where dancehall and reggae music play call mi already," Khago said.
He also has a lot more to be happy for, as he recently collaborated with dancehall superstars Shaggy and Beenie Man. He did two songs with Shaggy that have not been named and one with Beenie Man called Want A Search.
"Mi nuh must feel good man, fi know yuh a come from nowhere and dem man a deh shout yuh and a nuh you ask dem. As dem shout mi, mi just run go do it. Mi feel like a baby yuh nuh, happy. A Shaggy and Beenie Man dat enuh. Mi feel good man, mi just a humble," Khago said.
In the meantime, he said he is recording songs, preparing for his upcoming shows and taking care of his family.
