Benefit show for Ninja Man's family 2011

Supreme Promotions Limited will be staging a benefit concert for popular dancehall entertainer Desmond 'Ninja Man' Ballentine on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Jamworld in Portmore, St Catherine.
The concert will seek to assist the incarcerated deejay and his family with their financial expenses.
Isaiah Laing, CEO of Supreme Promotions, said Ninja Man is reaching out to his fellow comrades in the industry for their assistance. "Ninja Man is a very kind-hearted person. He would have been the first one to spearhead a cause of this nature," said Laing.

And many people have answered the call. Laing said support has been coming straight across the board from the music fraternity in support of this venture to raise funds to assist the incarcerated deejay.
The concert will feature some of Jamaica's best entertainers. These include Freddie McGregor and the Big Ship Family, Junior Reid and the One Blood Family, Josie Wales, Khago, Macka Diamond, Spice, Lisa Hyper, Merciless, KipRich, Mr G, Nesbeth, Major Mackerel, Blaze and many more artistes who will be giving support to the veteran DJ during these difficult times.
Patrons will pay $1,000 to see the line-up, but provisions will be made at the venue for persons who wish to make an additional contribution.

Ninja Man has been incarcerated since March 2009. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday June 27.
