Lisa Hyper Charge for Assualt Incident
Dancehall female deejay Lisa Hyper has been charged with assault.
Allegations are that on Sunday June 12, about 2 a.m., the deejay was about to enter a dance in the area when she was doused with a liquid substance believed to be urine mixed with pepper.
Further allegations are that she retaliated by throwing several blows at her attacker.
The Stony Hill police have confirmed the incident.
When checks were made in the Stony Hill area, one witness told THE STAR, "A schemas a war gainst schemas. As dem fight dem soon start par back again."THE STAR understands that the deejay resides in the area.
In 2009, the former Vybz Kartel protégé changed her name to Lisa Hyper after being booted from the Portmore Empire camp. She is known for songs such as Bills, Trust, Must Get Mine and Nuh Stress Mi Out which features international dancehall star Beenie Man.
