Busy Signal waives extradition rights


In a new development Thursday afternoon, dancehall entertainer Busy Signal, who is wanted by the United States government on drug trafficking charges, agreed to surrender to the US authorities.
 In a quick turn around, 33 year old Busy Signal whose given name is Glendale Gordon, agreed to waive his right to fight his extradition.


This was confirmed by his attorney KD Knight.
Mr Knight told RJR News that his client has agreed to return to the US to stand trial for absconding bail.
Busy Signal is also wanted to stand trial on drug trafficking charges.
He fled the US in 2002 after being charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine in Minnesota.
