A MEMBER FROM THE VOICEMAIL GROUP WAS SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES THIS MORNING.


Oneil is in serious condition according to the news on the radio.

Oneil Edwards, one-third of the popular dancehall group, Voicemail, was reportedly shot multiple times at the gate to his house in Duhaney Park, Kingston, early this morning, and is now undergoing critical surgery at the Kingston Public Hospital. Unconfirmed reports indicate that robbery was the motive, and that he was shot at least once in the head.

 He was reportedly rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) where up to early this morning he was being operated on and was said to have been in a critical condition.
When contacted, one of the other members of the trio, Kevin, confirmed the incident,


saying; "it sound critical." Kevin, who was at a loss for words said he heard that Oneil was shot at least three times by the unknown assailants.
Kevin said that he was hoping for the best and was still in shock after getting word of the incident. "Mi dey ya freeze, cyaan move," he said.

    Can the police really help?, they are apart of the whole corruption so I'm not sure much help will come from that end. The truth is this is the end of time, these things were written in the bible to come tru- earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, floods and killing of each other. Lets lift our eyes to the Lord and pray for our country.

    Boy its really sick. The way people can go around and gun down other people just like that. I really do hope that he will make it through this and that his assailants will be brought to justice. All we can say right now is that this is really sad, and we are looking for the best no matter how small that can come out of this. I pray that God will be by your operating bed Oneil, we pray.

    Yeah he got 5 shot at his duhaney park home one in his head and is in critical condition i pray that he pulls through although the doctors saying it is a 2% chance that he will be back to his old self.they are having a concert by the half way tree transport centre.

he shortage of men has become a growing problem in several Jamaican churches. The st ar understands that with some church population having as much as 80 per cent women, a large number of females have been left with a problem to find husbands. This is a huge concern for a number of churches, with at least one reverend saying the shortage is at a crisis level.Reverend Philbert Johnson, ministry development officer in the New Testament Church of God, said there is a serious shortage in the number of men in the church as women in their 30s and late 40s cannot find a suitable partner. Johnson, a pastor at one of the Testament branches, said at that location he had approximately 300 members of which only 40 were men.
