Christopher Dudus Coke Brother 'Livity' to face shooting charge

Leighton Coke, the half-brother of Jamaica's most wanted fugitive, Christopher 'Dudus' Coke, will be charged with at least one count of shooting for now. This was after he was positively identified yesterday in an identification parade.

"This is just the first. He is to appear on several more ID parades," a senior member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force told the gleaner. "Yesterday, he refused to leave his cell, so we took the witness to the cell, and that is where he was pointed out."
Contacted yesterday, Assistant Commissioner Les Green would only confirm that the ID parade was completed and that the investigation was progressing smoothly.
Allegations are that Coke (Leighton), who is better known as 'Livity', one of the area leaders of Tivoli Gardens, had been reluctant to appear before the ID parade.

His name was on a list of alleged inner-city dons issued by the police last month. He later surrendered to the police, in the company of well-known pastor, the Rev Al Miller.
Christopher Coke, who is wanted on gun and drug charges in the United States, is still on the run.
